Each of the seven chakras are governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness that we can use to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and well-being in our lives and in the world.
The First Center: The Root ChakraThe root chakra, known in Sanskrit as muladhara, is located at the base of the spine. It governs your most basic survival needs. When this chakra is clear and energy flows through it freely, we feel secure and confident that we can easily fulfill our needs. However, blockage in this area can cause us to feel anxious and worried.
The spiritual Law of Karma governs the first energy center. On the physical plane, every action you perform results in a corresponding reaction. To maximize the possibility that your actions generate evolutionary reactions, you can use your body as a choice determining instrument.
Consider the possibilities in front of you and listen to signals from your body. These sensations generating from the root chakra are either comfortable or uncomfortable. Your body evaluates every possible decision in terms of its likelihood to meet your needs for safety or increase the level of threat you experience. The first chakra, which connects you with the earth, provides essential information as to the potential nourishment or toxicity that is available to you as a result of the actions you are taking.
The Second Center: Creativity ChakraThe creativity chakra, called svadhishtana, is associated with creativity in all its expressions. Located in the area of your sexual organs, the energy of this center can be used for biological reproduction. When channeled into higher energy centers, it fuels the creative force that enables you to paint a beautiful picture, build a business, or create a life of love and abundance.
The Law of Least Effort is lively in the second chakra. When your vital energy is flowing through your center of creativity, you co-create your life. The solution to every problem is rarely on the level of the problem. Rather, it comes from a deeper domain of creativity. Creativity is the process of taking the same raw material and creating different contexts and relationships between the components.
For example, when a composer creates a new piece of music, he is using the same notes in a new relationship with one another other, resulting in the emergence of something that did not exist before. The second chakra utilizes the raw material of the root chakra to create the world anew each day.
The Third Center: Energy ChakraThe energy chakra, manipura, is localized in your solar plexus. It’s the seat of your power in the world. When this center is open and flowing, you are capable of translating your intentions and desires into manifestation. When it is blocked, you feel frustrated and ineffectual.
The Law of Intention and Desire governs the third chakra. The seeds of intentions and desires reside in your personal soul. Nourishing the seeds you wish to germinate with your attention will lead to their full expression. It is important to be clear about your intentions so you are not surprised when they bear fruit.
The process of manifesting your desires is to first bring them into consciousness, followed by expanding your awareness through meditation, and finally releasing your intentions and detaching from the outcome. You can control your actions, however you cannot control the fruit of your actions. Keep your life energy flowing freely through your third chakra and the light and heat of your intentions will radiate on the world.
The Fourth Center: Heart ChakraThe heart chakra represents the unifying energy of love and compassion. Known as anahata, it is located at the center of the chest. The heart chakra is dedicated to overcoming separation and division. When the heart center is blocked, there is a sense of alienation from others. When the heart center is open and flowing, you feel connected at a deep level to all beings in your life.
The Law of Giving and Receiving governs the heart chakra. Love can take many different forms at different stages of life. The love of child for her mother is different than a mother’s love for her child. A friend’s love is different than that of a passionate lover or the love of a student for his teacher. However so, the common thread in each of these expressions of love is the impulse to unify—to overcome separation. This is the nature of the heart.
Every act of giving is simultaneously an act of receiving. Each time you welcome a gift into your life, you are providing the opportunity for someone to give. Just as a healthy physical heart receives blood from the periphery which it then oxygenates and pumps back out, your emotional heart stays healthy by receiving and giving love in all its forms.
The Fifth Center: Expression ChakraThe throat chakra, called visshuddha in Sanskrit, is the center of expression. When the fifth chakra is open and flowing, you have the confidence that you are capable of communicating your needs. When the fifth chakra is obstructed, a person will often feel that they are not being heard. In order to feel alive and empowered, it’s important that this energy center is clear. Blockages in this area are often associated with thyroid problems or chronic neck pain.
The Law of Detachment governs the throat chakra. An open fifth chakra enables you to express your truth without concern for censors or critics. This does not mean you say things that are intentionally hurtful or insensitive. On the contrary, people with open centers of communication are skillful in expressing their needs in ways that are life supporting. Anxiety over how people will react to your views does not arise when energy is flowing freely through the chakra of expression.
The Law of Detachment reminds you that you can choose your words and actions, but you cannot control the response to your words and action. When your intentions are clear, and your heart is open, you will spontaneously demonstrate right speech trusting that the universe will handle the details.
The Sixth Center: Intuition ChakraThe intuition chakra, known in Sanskrit as ajna, is located in the forehead. It is the center of insight and intuition. When this center is open, you have a deep sense of connection to your inner voice, and feel guided in your choices. When blocked, there is a sense of self-doubt and distrust. The opening of this chakra is usually associated with a clear sense of connection to ones dharma, or purpose in life.
The Law of Dharma or Cause and Effect governs the sixth chakra. You have within you a wise voice guiding you to express the highest aspects of your nature. Listen to this still inner voice, which is guiding you to manifest your full potential. Quiet the internal turbulence that is filled with the voices of others so you can identify the sound of your own soul. It has only one desire—for you to remember your essential nature as a spark of the divine.

The Seventh Center: Consciousness ChakraThe consciousness chakra, known as dahaswara, is visualized as a lotus flower at the crown of the head. When the lotus unfolds its petals, the memory of wholeness is restored. Remember that your essential nature is unbounded, and that you are spirit in disguise as a person. This is the full expression of yoga – the unification of being with action, of universality with individuality.
The Law of Pure Potentiality governs the seventh chakra. When your roots are receiving nourishment from the earth in the first chakra, your creative juices are flowing in the second, your intentions are empowered in the third, your heart is open and exchanging love with those around you in the fourth, you are spontaneously expressing your highest self in the fifth, you are in touch with your inner voice in the sixth, only then, does energy move into the crown chakra and you remember your essential nature as infinite and unbounded. The thousand-petaled lotus flower unfolds and you know yourself as a spiritual being temporarily localized to a body and mind.
The Yoga of Meditation The Upanishads tell us, “As great as the infinite space beyond is the space within the lotus of the heart.” From the time of your birth, you have been called to explore the world outside of you. Meditation is the exploration of your inner world. Yoga encourages you to be as familiar with your inner world of thoughts, feelings, memories, desires, and imagination as you are with the outer world. When you can move through both the inner and outer domains of life with freedom and joy, you fulfill the highest purpose of yoga.

According to George Kavassilas, we don’t need our chakras.
I’m still up in the air on this debate. Just like living in a 3rd dimensional reality, if we can learn how the game is played, we can use their rules to our advantage. For example, we all have a “reptilian brain” that triggers the “fight or flight” response. By overcoming our fears, we can use this brain to our advantage.
Chakras are energy centers that can help us find out where blockages are within us, thus helping to facilitate our spiritual progression. While it may be true that we don’t need our chakras, we can definitely learn from them.
In the next stage of your physical body’s shifting reality a realm of many vibrant prismatic colors and dancing energy patterns. Your body’s chakra system can be viewed as an energy pattern of beautiful colors, circling each of its thirteen major energy centers. Imagine glorious combinations of reds, coral-pinks and vibrant light-blues, red-oranges and pale and day-glow greens, dancing together in marvelous ways. Picture each energy center working with every other as one. Before we immerse ourselves in the observation of our chakras, let me briefly describe why this is happening to you.
Chakras (or your major energy centers) allow your transforming physical body to integrate its spiritual body and to function properly. To accomplish these complex procedures, your local Spiritual Hierarchy intends to bring four additional chakras online as soon as possible. These four new centers will permit you to manage the immensity of multi-dimensional information inherent in your new physicality. In addition, they will transform the other seven chakras, thereby allowing them to take on many new ‘responsibilties’. Let us now engage our ship’s unique ‘miniature’ drive and enter this changing life-energy system of your chakras.
New Chakra System
The first extra center is at the diaphragm where your body’s emotional memory system is currently located.
The second new center is situated at the thymus where your body’s immune system is presently regulated. (Fully-conscious humans possess a complete and very healthy immune system.)
The two other new centers are in the head. One (called the ‘Well of Dreams’) is found in the back of the head just above your medulla oblongata. It regulates the connection your consciousness has with information from higher dimensions. The other new chakra is located near the pituitary and is named after the master endocrine gland in the body.
Instead of the previous seven physical body centers, your transformed body now has eleven. This eleven-center network has two additional interdimensional (etheric) centers located above the head. They are called the ‘Universal Female’ and the ‘Universal Male’. In total, you will have thirteen primary or main chakras -two purely etheric and eleven that are part of your physical selves. Let us begin the following portion of our mini-tour by describing these new and currently transforming chakras.
The first chakra (root center) is located at the base of the abdominal cavity. Its main purpose, however, is changing. This energy center allows Mother Earth to attune your life force vibrations to hers. In effect, Mother Earth depends upon the resonance of her physicalAngels to maintain maximum efficiency of her magnetic and gravitational fields.
The second chakra (sex center) is located near the sexual organs and is tied to the first chakra. Its primary purpose is to help vivify the body through the use of special sexual practices or disciplines such as highly ritualized, fully-conscious tantra. This process permits the vibrating energy (internal sexual tuning crystal) to tune the entire body and, especially, the first chakra.
The third chakra (solar plexus center) is located just above your belly button and is the seat of the second connection point for your Full Self. Life energy enters through the crown center at the top of the head (the golden cord) and through the solar plexus (the silver cord) or seat of your Will. The heart center regulates this energy.
The newly formed fourth chakra (diaphragm center), found at the base of the thoracic cavity, is now the center for storing negative emotions. In the near future, it will be able to alleviate stress and empower Will energies stored in the solar plexus center. This chakra is the center of a rejuvenated ‘prana’ (breath energy). And, as students of yoga know, prana acts to revitalize and purify the body.
The fifth chakra (heart center) is found at the heart. It is a vital link to the Angelic energies of pure thought and to the holy energy of complete Love, devoid of all possession, sentimentality, etc. This complete or pure love enables your body to operate at peak efficiency.
The sixth chakra (thymus center), also newly formed, is where the thymus gland is situated. In your coming reality, the body is pure thoughtform. Its immune system is tremendously strong and viable. In the transformed human, the thymus retains its initial size which is about one-third the size of an adult heart.
This means that the thymus center remains sound throughout your lifetime. The human body easily attains the ability to transmute any potential illness or disease. Due to Earth’s present high levels of background radiation and to the many long-forgotten wars that have ripped your atmosphere asunder, your thymus center begins its gradual deterioration immediately following birth. By adulthood, it has shriveled from the size of a human baby’s heart to that of a small pea.
The seventh chakra is located in the throat and helps to collect prana energy that invigorates and purifies the body. It also acts as the communicator for your consciousness and coordinates the energies of the body ,with the regulatory consciousness energies of the head.
The eighth chakra (Well of Dreams’ center) is currently vestigial and is found in the area of the occipital lobe (at the base and back of the head) directly above the neck. Individuals, particularly those with psychic abilities, commonly get headaches from information ‘bottlenecking’ that create discomfort in this region. This chakra’s inactivity mirrors your present state as a dormant, limited conscious Being.
In the present reality, humans with expanded psychic abilities can use connections critical to the brain’s limbic system provided by the “Well of Dreams’ to mentally control others. It is important to realize this and to surround this center with great spiritual protection. In the new fully conscious system, this particular center, regulating psychic energies and preventing you from ever being controlled, becomes very important.
The ninth (pituitary chakra) is newly located in the area of the pituitary gland. Near the center of your head, it permits the body to respond to Light and radiation and, by utilizing this response, eventually will re-juvenate your body. In the new body, the sixth, eighth, and ninth centers interact quite extensively with the others, allowing you to use any vital, inter-dimensional information-energy immediately.
The tenth chakra (pineal center) is located in the center of the forehead above the nose and near the pineal gland. It brings in higher Light frequencies and is known as the vision center or the ‘third eye‘. Together, the eighth and tenth chakras permit you to receive and interpret visions and other key messages from higher vibratory states.
The eleventh chakra (crown center) is located at the back half of the top of the head. It is here that the Full Self energies from the universal source and the two new etheric chakras connect into the head.
The twelfth chakra (Universal Female) is situated just above the head. It controls the left side of your body and regulates your many creative gifts and talents. It is also where the desire for internal self-love and for external love or compassion originates.
The thirteenth chakra (Universal Male) is found above the head and regulates the right side of the body. It also has authority over your perceptions of reality and your ability to carry out a designated plan with practicality. This chakra is the source of your desire for inner and outer harmony.
Keep in mind, dear Hearts, that you are energy and Light Beings. Everything in Creation is Light. Your cellular structures and everything around you (the room in which you are currently sitting or any other part of your reality) is all Light. Light exists at many different frequencies. There is visible Light, and there is obscure or hyper-spatial (inter-dimensional) Light. There are many different levels of Light. Light is all encompassing. All of Creation is made of Light. For this reason, every area of the body is highly Light sensitive. It is crucial that you understand this point. We are all Light Beings. Even now, you could say that you are a Light Being having a human experience.
“Meditation is nothing but withdrawing all the barriers; thoughts, emotions, sentiments, everything that builds a wall between you and existence. The moment they drop, you suddenly find yourself in tune with the whole; not only in tune, you really find you are the whole.” –Osho
“Remember you don’t meditate to get anything, but to get rid of things. We do it, not with desire, but with letting go. If you want anything, you won’t find it. You won’t be able to find it. But when your heart is ready, peace will come looking for you.” –Arjahn Chah
The seven chakras are an enigma to many people, but the more conscious we become of how energy moves through our body, the more we discover that which is healthy, superior, infinite, and unconditional within us. The more we meditate on this type of energy, the more we allow our personal frequency to resonate with the greater orchestra of the cosmos. And the more we allow our frequency to resonate, the more balance and health we will experience in our lives.
Opening the Earth Chakra:
“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.” –Anais Nin
This chakra, also known as the root chakra, deals with survival and is blocked by fear. In order to open this chakra we must be able to let go of fear so that it can go through the alchemical transformation into courage. The earth chakra doesn’t just ground us physically it also grounds us temporally by keeping us in the present moment. Those with open earth chakras tend to be healthier and more balanced than others. They tend to be less fearful and more centered. Those with closed earth chakras are often imbalanced and disconnected, and they tend to be fearful and lack in focus.
To open the earth chakra, focus meditation on the base of your spine. Imagine a bright red energy moving down your spine and branching down into the earth like the roots of a tree. Visualize yourself receiving the full bounty of the earth’s primordial energy. Relish in this most ancient of connections. Embrace your fear. Let go of your fear. Breathe the sacred breath of survival.
Opening the Water Chakra:
“Why do you stay in prison when the door is wide open?” –Rumi
This chakra, also known as the sacral chakra, deals with pleasure and is blocked by guilt. In order to open this chakra we must be able to release all blame and guilt. We must be able to forgive ourselves our past transgressions in order to delve fully into life’s many unique pleasures. Those with open water chakras tend to be full of wonder and awe for their connection to the greater cosmos. They tend to be more adaptable, happy, and are able to go with the flow of life. Those with closed water chakras are often confused and disoriented about their place in the world, and they tend to suffer from autoimmune deficiencies.
The water chakra is fairly easy to transform as it responds to emotional and creative self-expression. The moon planet is a very powerful symbol with this chakra, as it controls the moving “tides” of our inner-waters. Meditate on the naval area. Imagine your psychophysiological “fluids” flowing out into the cosmos like rivers into a mighty ocean. Visualize yourself moving with the “tide” of your body’s natural rhythm in balance with the greater cosmic waves of the universe. Let go of your guilt. Feel the sacred process of pleasure. Breathe.
Opening the Fire Chakra:
“There can be no transformation in the world outside unless there is transformation from within. It is our responsibility to bring about a radical transformation within ourselves.” –Krishnamurti
This chakra, also known as the navel chakra, deals with willpower and is blocked by shame. We must be able to let go of past letdowns and disappointments. Or, better yet, transform them into steppingstones toward higher awareness. We must embrace our insecurities and our doubts. Dance them into something worthwhile. Dance with the fire. If it burns us to ashes, then we will rise like a phoenix. Life is too short to live it second-guessing our authenticity. Those with open fire chakras tend to lead their lives with dynamism, power, and authority. Those with closed fire chakras tend to feel unworthy and they have a low self-esteem.
To open the fire chakra, focus meditation on the solar plexus. Imagine a bright yellow light spinning there, like a brilliant sun. Imagine it bathing you in healing light, burning away the shame and replacing it with a will toward healthy power. Notice how you feel as the benevolent power of the universe blesses you with a self-esteem and a confidence to engage the world like only you can. Let go of your shame. Embrace your willpower. Breathe.
Opening the Air Chakra:
“As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people the right to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others” –Marianne Williamson
This chakra, also known as the heart chakra, deals with love and is blocked by grief. We must be able to release our sadness and loss in order to transform our ego into soul. We must let the pain from loss flow away like water off a ducks back. Learning how to love is learning how to let others love is learning how to let go of the egos attachment to love. This is the secret of attaining happiness despite grief. Those with open air chakras tend to be filled with unconditional love for self and others, what the Buddhists call Mahakaruna “the Great Compassion.” Those with closed air chakras tend to experience poor circulation on the physical level, lack of empathy on the emotional level, and a lack of devotion on the spiritual level. They have trouble loving themselves, and they are paranoid and afraid to love others.
To open the air chakra, focus Meditation on your heart. Imagine a brilliant green light spinning there and emanating vibrant oxygen that connects you to all things. Feel this life-giving force invigorate and rejuvenate you. Imagine this connection nourishing your soul and healing your heart and skin. Touch is important with this chakra, so “feel” the cosmos pressing against your skin. “Feel” your skin absorbing the cosmos. Circulate with the Great Circulation. Let go of your grief. Allow love to wash over you and transform you into a being worthy of love and light. Breathe.
Opening the Sound Chakra:
“The mystical is not how the world is, but that it is.” –Ludwig Wittgenstein
This chakra, also known as the throat chakra, deals with truth and is blocked by lies. Honesty is very important with this chakra. It is essential that we be impeccable with our word. We must be able to release ourselves from whatever we might be in denial about, and accept who we truly are. Those with open sound chakras tend to be able to say what they mean and mean what they say. Their speech is uplifting and wise and they communicate clearly their intent. Those with closed sound chakras tend to experience poor communication on the physical level, codependency on the emotional level, unclear thoughts on the mental level, and insecurity on the spiritual level.
To open the sound chakra, focus meditation on your throat. Visualize a blue sun rising up from your Solar Plexus and moving into your throat. Imagine it washing over your vocal chords and emboldening divine expression. Let the Divine Breath to activate your vocal organs. Allow your numinous voice to resonate in the sacred ether. Let go of the lies you’ve been telling yourself. Embrace the truth. Breathe.
Opening the Light Chakra:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” –Marianne Williamson
This chakra, also known as the third eye chakra, deals with insight and is blocked by illusion. The illusion of separation is the greatest illusion. It is essential that we understand this, and move past the illusion, in order to actualize the Self in accordance with greater cosmic frequencies. The majority of people are unable to open this chakra. Those with open light chakras tend to see themselves and others as spiritually interconnected beings. They have great intuition, a strong sense of identity, and the ability to self-reflect. Those with closed light chakras tend to lack in imagination and have weak intuition, resulting in poor decision making and self-deception.
To open the light chakra, focus meditation on the forehead. Imagine a luminous ball of warm indigo energy emerging from your pineal gland and spinning slowly at the center of your forehead. Visualize it shooting powerful bands of light down and through your lower chakras, filling your entire being with divine light. Picture your third eye opening and reflecting aspects of the universe that you weren’t aware of before. Let go of all your illusions. Allow your intuition to guide you. Breathe.
Opening the Thought Chakra
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” –Albert Einstein
This chakra, also known as the crown chakra, deals with enlightened transcendence and is blocked by earthly attachment. We must be able to let go of all attachments, especially love, in order to open this chakra. This is very difficult to do. Because of this, only a very small percentage of people are ever able to open this chakra. Those with open thought chakras tend to experience divine union and cosmic love, stretching out forever. Their unique frequency is in tune with the greater cosmic orchestra. Those with closed thought chakras tend to be nihilistic and disconnected spiritually, doubting everything they know to be true.
To open the thought chakra, focus meditation on the top of your head. The goal is complete surrender and dissolution; a letting go of the hold that the physical world has on you. Imagine an infinite crown of violet energy showering up into the cosmos like a mighty fountainhead connecting you to all things. Feel the powerful energy pool up from your roots, passing through the sacred waters of the sacral, basking in the fire of the solar plexus, breathing in the vital breath of the heart, absorbing the ethereal voice of the throat, pouring through the dissolution of the Third Eye, and spilling up and out the crown of your head into a thousand-petaled lotus. Feel the boundaries of your mind body and soul dissolve into all things. Let go of earthly attachment. Let go of love. You are now love itself. Breathe.
The Bodies of Man," through their intrinsic qualities make the human soul capable of expressing itself in the world of form, and prepare man to eventually return to his Father from where he will have no need "to come out again."
Closely related to the physical as well as to the etheric bodies--the finer bodies--are the Centres, which constitute a great relating system and bring all parts of the physical vehicle into relation with each other. These centres govern the endocrine system which, in turn, controls the seven major areas of the physical body and is responsible for the correct functioning of the entire organism, producing both physiological and psychological effects. In this gaglionic system we have a replica, in miniature, of the septenary constitution of the Universe and the medium of expression as well as the instrument of contact for the seven Ray force which influence the evolutionary life of man. The higher a man ascends in the ladder of evolution, the more these centres expand, and when the reverse occurs, they remain dormant.
In the endoctrine system we have the tangible and exoteric expression of the activity of the etheric "vital Body" and its seven centres. These "seven centres" are not to be found "in" the physical body, but they are close to the same region where the seven major glands are located, and each centre of force provides the power and the life of the corresponding gland which is, in fact, its externalization. They are what one could call the glands' "Spiritual Correspondences," and which the Wise Men of the East named "Chakras." These Chakras, primarily, are seven in number, though from them emanate twenty-one minor ones, as well as forty still smaller, making a total of seventy-seven, leaving out the still smaller ones.
Thus we can see that from the "Chakras" important and vital force emanates and is distributed into the physical body through the endoctrine system which conditions, controls, and determines, to a large extent, the life expression of the incarnated individual. They are the conveyors of the forces of personality--mental and emotional--and register them in the glands, thus galvanizing the physical man into action, be it good, bad, or indifferent.
The "Chakras" and the glands which correspond to their force are as follows:
CHAKRAS. . . GLANDS
Head Centre. . . Pineal Gland
Centre between eyebrows. . . Pituitary Body
Throat Centre. . . Thyroid Gland
Heart Centre. . . Thymus Gland
Solar Plexus Centre. . . Pancreas
Sacral Centre. . . The Gonads
Centre at the base of the spine. . . Adrenal Glands
The centres are usually described as "wheels" and do denote action--a turning around. To the spiritually evolved man, they are more than that; they are vortex, whirlpools, turning around in a dizzy speed, and with the light and brilliancy of the Sun. Furthermore, their size is considerable. In this condition, they carry the positive, clear, constructive colors, representing the colors of the Seven Rays. Originally the centres were meant to be convex in shape and radiating foci of the qualities of the Seven Rays. Due to human degradation they have reversed themselves and have become concave--veritable declivities in the etheric body filled with the destructive humanly qualified vibrations that have become the roots of all evil and discord.
The centres, or "Chakras," on their movement follow a clockwise rotation and the greater their rapidity, the more non-recordant they are to discord. They were intended and should be magnetic centres for the drawing, into the world of the individual, the radiations of the perfections of the qualities which they represent from the Elohim, the Archangels and the Chohans of the Seven Rays.
In the following, the Elohim of Peace gives us authentic information in regard to the "Chakras" and their influence to their particular environment.
". . . The lowest "Chakra," which is the base of the spine, is the focus of lust and passion in the spiritually unawakened individual. This is the negative aspect. In the "awakened," it is the positive focus of Purity. The Elohim in charge of that "Chakra" is the Elohim of Purity; the Archangel Who would pour His radiation of the Resurrection Flame through it is Gabriel and the Ascended master is Serapis Bey. The Ray that influences this "Chakra" is the Fourth.
The Central "chakra," located at the spleen, is the focus of anger, malice, hatred and even mild dislike in its negative aspect. Its positive activity is the power of Invocation. The Elohim in charge of this centre is Arcturus; its Archangel Zadkiel and its Chohan Saint Germain. The Ray that influences this "Chakra" is the Seventh.
The "Chakra" at the Solar Plexus is the focus of greed, gluttony, covetousness and fear in its negative aspect. That is why you feel "struck" in the solar plexus when you are suddenly fearful. The positive aspect of this "Charka" is Peace and this focus is that over which I am in charge as the Elohim of Peace. The Archangel Who radiates through this centre is Uriel and the Ascended Master is Our Beloved Nada. When this "Chakra" has been completely purified and you hold the Solar Plexus in a wholly controlled manner, feeling the radiation of Ascended Master Peace from My Own humble Self, Uriel and nada, then you will have complete protection against both fear and the destructive desires of others of mankind; as well as complete protection from the "grasping" nature of your own physical appetites. The Ray on this "Chakra" is the Sixth.
The "Chakra" at the heart, in its negative aspect, represents lethargy, sloth and laziness. If your heart is not in a thing, you do not give it much of your life. The positive radiation of this centre, of course, is that of pure, selfless, Divine Love. Its Elohim is the Lady Master Rowena. (formerly was Paul the Venetian) The Ray is the Third.
The "Chakra" at the throat is the power centre of the body where, in it negative aspect, rests envy and the desire for personal power. Its positive activity is the power to create perfection by the doing of God's Will and, the Elohim in charge here is Hercules; the Archangel is Lord Michael and the Chohan is Beloved El Morya. The Ray in charge here is the First.
The "Chakra" in the forehead is the focus of the power of reason and its negative aspects manifest as pride and intellectual arrogance. It is the place where doubt is allowed to enter the mind. Its positive aspect is, visualized in early mythology, as the "all-seeing eye" of God and the power of Concentration. The Elohim Whose name is Vista, known as "Cyclopea" is the one in charge of this centre. The Archangel in charge of this "Chakra" is Beloved Raphael Who is the Archangel of Concentration and Consecration. No lifestream will consecrate himself to anything until both his mind and heart such endeavors. The Ascended Master Hilarion represents that focus also. That is why, as Saint Paul (Saul of Tarsus), He had the tremendous mental development of the Fifth Ray (the Ray of which He is today in charge).
Thank God that the "crown-centre" of the body, at the very top of the head, has not been touched destructively and there is no negative vibration there. In most people, this centre is completely undeveloped but, in the earnest student, when the attention is rhythmically turned to his own "I AM" Presence, anchored in his own heart, this centre begins to throb and eventually forms an aureole or halo of light about the head. Finally it comes to the point where, with the inner sight at first, you can see a blazing halo of living light around the head of the student. This is the "Chakra" presided over by the Beloved Cassiopea, the Elohim of Illumination; its Archangel is Beloved Jophiel, and its Chohan Lanto (having succeeded Kuthumi). Of course His Ray is that of Illumination, the Second Ray, and all who start upon the Spiritual Path first come under the direction and instruction of Beloved Lanto.
